Indeed nuclear energy offers a global warming solution to the issue of alternative sources of energy in the modern world. The natural gas engines can widely produce lesser greenhouse gases (CO2), which can contribute to the global warming. Greenhouse gases are a significant factor contributing to global warming causes. Global warming effects may result in rise of the ocean level that leads to coastal floods. Statistics in scientific research papers shows that climate change already led to 150 thousand deaths in only 2000. The most significant environmental threat to the Ocean Biome is the destruction of the coral reefs. Major causes of the deaths of coral reefs include water pollution, over-fishing, dredging off the coast, dynamite fishing and harmful collecting of coral specimans. Additional harm to coral reefs is caused by bleaching caused by increased ocean temperatures due to global warming effects and by sedimentation, which is the death of coral due to lack of sunlight because of silt and sand run-off from construction and mining sites. As a result of these factors, coral reefs around the world have become endangered.
